Brahms Quartet Saturday, August 5th @ 6PM Carl Fisher House 44 Foxboro Rd, Montauk Music for Montauk kicks off the 2023 Summer Series with Johannes Brahms' transcendent Piano Quartet in A Major. Richly lyrical, this strikingly innovative masterpiece of chamber music is programmed to celebrate the return of Music for Montauk to the venue of its founding, in the beautifully warm acoustic of Carl Fisher House. Cuban Music Ensemble Pedro Giraudo & Friends Friday, August 11th @ 6PM Montauk Point Lighthouse Grammy Award winning bassist and band leader Pedro Giraudo leads an ensemble incorporating Afro-Cuban and Afro-Puerto Rican vocal stylings, piano, bass , trombone, and percussion. These musicians are honored to have shared the international stage with renowned bands such as Los Van Van, Buena Vista Social Club, y El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico.
